Kevin Glen Farncombe

October 8, 1957 – August 3, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kevin Glen Farncombe, who left us on August 3, 2024, in Winnipeg at the age of 66. Born in Portage La Prairie, Kevin spent his life appreciating the pleasures of family and friends.

Kevin was raised in High Bluff working alongside his family at Farncombe’s General Store. At the age of 18, Kevin ventured out west to Alberta where he built a meaningful career in the oil and gas industry for 45 years.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; his son, Brandon (Lindsay); his daughter, Haley; his dog, Nova; his brother, Grant (Heather); his sister-in-law, Joan; and his uncle and aunt, Gerald and Georgina, along with many more nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Jean, and his brother, Craig.

Kevin had a passion for golfing, spending time with his friends, traveling, and enjoying the company of Nova. He also cherished his time at the cabin, where he found comfort and peace. Kevin’s enthusiasm for these activities was infectious, bringing joy and excitement to those around him.

Kevin’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, enthusiasm, and zest for life will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

In honor of his final wishes, the family will mourn his loss privately.
