I want to throw a party, where all who loved me gather I want them to share stories, with little tears, just laughter. I want everyone to know my heart, and this was not defeat. I did the things I wanted to and never skipped a beat. I’m resting now without stress, no chores or rush or lists. An eternal dream of hockey, where the Habs do not exist. I want my son to smile and say, “This One’s for my dad”. I want my girls to smile back knowing I’d be glad. I do not wish to feel your sorrow, nor to see you cry. Just to see you raise your glass and have a shot of rye.

It is with heartache and sadness that we announce the passing of our Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.
We will never be able to put into words all that she has meant to our family. She was a constant in our lives. Ryden, her Grandson, recently said it perfectly….she was so selfless. Her needs came after everyone else’s.
Angie was a cherished and devoted Mom to Tracy and Jacquie. She was a beautiful person who left an immeasurable impression on her children and everyone she met. She was genuine, full of life and so much fun to be around.
Her greatest joy and purpose was being Grandma to Madison, McKenna, Ryden, Brett, & Kate. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She was always eager to prepare their favourite meals, goal tend for mini sticks, take trips to the playground and see them off on the first day of school. She was always there to cheer and support at all hockey games, soccer matches, volleyball games, concerts and school events. She would do anything for them. Even actions that were questionable or unauthorized such as entering a plane at the Aviation Museum or laying on the floor of the backseat of the car so they could take all kids on an excursion. It was all to make the experience more enjoyable for her grandkids. Her love towards her Grandchildren was truly amazing.
And of course, there was the love of her life. She met Dave shortly after high school and would have celebrated their 59th anniversary in June of this year. The love and devotion they shared was an example to us all.
We will miss her quick wit and sometimes sassy comebacks. And as much as we are struggling with the loss, we will forever cherish our wonderful memories of her.
“Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you, until we meet again” – Unknown
