I want to throw a party, where all who loved me gather
I want them to share stories, with little tears, just laughter.
I want everyone to know my heart, and this was not defeat.
I did the things I wanted to and never skipped a beat.
I’m resting now without stress, no chores or rush or lists.
An eternal dream of hockey, where the Habs do not exist.
I want my son to smile and say, “This One’s for my dad”.
I want my girls to smile back knowing I’d be glad.
I do not wish to feel your sorrow, nor to see you cry.
Just to see you raise your glass and have a shot of rye.

I’ll always make an extra plate of pasta carbonara for you Les, I can never have it without thinking of you. Miss you Les! R.I.P

Beautiful thoughts, condolences to all on the loss of a one of a kind man and friend.
Just got back and miss you already. RIP Les you’ll always be at my table for Happy Hour.
We refuse to believe this is goodbye. We picture you sitting on your deck, watching your favourite sports team on a nice sunny day. You welcomed everyone with open arms, from offering a drink, to planning a meal and just genuinely caring about our well being. Your laughter and jokes lit up the room. Life won’t be the same with you. You are so missed. We love you Les.
