Joyce Chambers

September 27, 1938 – January 16, 2026

Joyce Marguerite (Holiday) Chambers, was an amazing person to many people in all her ways! As a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend she left all of our sides peacefully on January 16, 2016 at 87 with Wayne by her side at home, a place she truly loved to be. Joyce will always be in our hearts, on our minds and loved by all of us forever. She enjoyed her life with a bright beaming smile on her face surrounded by those that were close to her.

Joyce was predeceased by Joe (Joseph) Chambers her husband, and Jackie (Jacquelyne) Chambers her daughter as well as other family members and close friends. She is survived by her son Wayne, all of her Grandchildren – Kelly (Ashley), Steven (Hannah), Ashley (Sean), Nickolas (Karlee) and her Great Grandchildren – Emma and Brooks, Chloe and Cassie, Ivy and twins Ellie and Dean. Brothers – Kenny (Donna), Terry and their children. Millie, her daughters, Cathy (Murray), Sharon (Rob), Angela and their children. Janie (Dave), Michael (Debi), Pat (Leonard), Lynn and their children, as well as all additional family members. Friends – Anna, Mona, Olie, Pat, Bev, and her many other numerous friends

Joyce grew up in MacGregor, MB. On her parent’s farm she was surrounded by her brothers and sisters, as well as all her country raised friends. As Joyce grew up she worked a few jobs in Portage La Prairie before moving to Winnipeg in 1956 and living with Millie (Alderson) and Betty (Mason). That was prior to her marriage in 1957 to Joe Chambers who she met in MacGregor while he was coming there with his best friend Chuck (Charlie) Mason. Joyce started her family with Joe raising Wayne and Jackie in the North End of Winnipeg. Joyce had a few opportunity changes prior to her career at Western Grain Stabilization Canada. A career she loved and with it she made some really good friends.   

Joyce (Holiday) Chambers lived life loving, having fun with a bright smile beaming on her face always enjoying her family, friends and everyone she had the pleasure of knowing.

She is remembered and missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her!
