25 August 1945 to 14 November 2024
Peacefully, with Jo-Ell by her side, Bev left us to be with her sons, Corey and Mark, and many others.
Bev was predeceased by many, including her sons Corey and Mark, Randy, husband John, sister Caren and her parents.
Left to mourn are her children Michael, Jo-Ell (Rob) and grandsons Corey (Delanie) and Jody. Michelle (Gabe), John Allan (Michele), Mona, Marlene and Kenny. Grandchildren Tara (Pat), Rebecca (Tom), Cody (Courtney), Kylee, George (Breanna), Nicole, Ashley, Taylor, Crissy and Brothers Allan (Patricia), Lindsay (Darlene).
Bev was a friend to all. Her contagious laugh and quick wit will be missed. Bev loved without judgement.
In her younger years, Bev loved to curl, play tennis and cross country ski. She always had a passion for reading which she passed onto her children. She loved cross words and anything to learn about forensic science. She loved her curling bonspiels with her cousin Deb, Ticki and Jo-Ell.
Some of her greatest moments were her cabin weeks at Trout Lake with Corey and Jody. They didn’t miss a summer for years. Throwing a football, swimming, fishing, sandcastles, movie nights, card games and dance parties where her laughter could be heard cabins down. Those boys lit up her life and she was their hero.
Mom and John spent many vacations in the north fishing. Mom loved the sun and the outdoors. She always had her beautiful tanned skin by April.
There were many camping trips to Gull Lake with all the kids. Later, we had many lawn dart tournaments at the family cottage in Beausejour (Brokenhead).
Christmas’ on Rampart Bay were always a big event. Mom and John loved spending time in the kitchen together and everybody, near and far, were welcome!
Anybody who knew us kids knew our mom. She was loved by everybody.
Bev cherished her friendships with Terry, Marlyn, Lorne, Donna, Shelly and her forever sister-in-law Mary. You were all amazing to her and she loved you all dearly. Some have already passed on and we know she is with you now, of course having a glass of wine, reminiscing and laughing.
Bev’s relationship with her sister Caren was a blessing. Thelma and Louise forever. She cherished their time together, especially going to the Fringe Festival and Act Fest.
Her love and friendship for her cousin Deb ran deep.
A very special thank you to the ladies of Park Manor Personal Care Home. Cathy, Dori, Celeste, Rachel, Tera, Tracey, Genevieve, Lynette, Erin, Barb, Michelle, Janet and Marni. Your care, love and friendship went far beyond the duties of your jobs. Bev cared deeply and loved you all very much.
A heartfelt thank you to Patricia Remillard. Your care and love for our mom went above and beyond.
At mom’s request, there will not be a service. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Family and friends are invited to share memories and condolences on Bev’s memorial page using the comment field below.

Bev was a friend to everyone she met instantly . She was an especially good friend to me, I will miss her.
My sincere condolences Jo-ell. Though I met your mom on only a few occasions way back in the early 90’s, I still remember how welcoming she was and that smile! Her kindness, grace and joy were obviously passed on to you so I hope you take comfort in that knowledge and in all the wonderful memories of her.
She was the best sister in law one could have.
It was great to have her as part of the McGillivray
Park shenanigan’s way back when and live so close to each other with our young kids.
She was certainly loved by many and will always be missed .
Bev’s smile was the first thing I saw when Corey introduced me to his family. She walked right up to me and said Welcome to our family and gave me the tightest, warmest hug I have ever received. I remember she always made sure that everyone had what they needed before she took care of herself…family was everything to her and that whole family was all about LOVE ❤️
Bev thank you for being so kind to me and please give Corey the biggest HUG 🤗 and tell him I still have that fishing rod he bought me.
Love
Pam

We are so sorry for your loss. Please accept our condolences. We loved Bev. She was a great person and we enjoyed seeing her often, usually at Mom’s place. After my Mom (Marlyn) passed we thought of Bev often. They are all together and definitely having a cocktail or two.
