January 16, 1963 – October 5, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rhonda Louise Vermette, age 61, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, on October 5th, 2024. Rhonda was a cherished mother, and a beloved grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Rhonda was known for her kind spirit and unwavering support to her family and friends. She devoted her life to her four children: Greg, Lucas, Travis, and Rachel, who will forever carry her love and teachings in their hearts. Her legacy will continue through her 11 adoring grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Rhonda’s nurturing spirit and boundless love created lasting connections that will flourish in their hearts.
She is now reunited in spirit with her cherished son, William, and while we grieve her absence, we find solace in the memories of her laughter, her loving embraces, and the unyielding strength she conveyed through kindness.
A truly kind soul, Rhonda had a remarkable ability to care for those around her. She was known for her forgiving nature, always willing to lend a kind word or a listening ear. Rhonda had a profound love for nature, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. Whether it was sitting in the backyard or camping with her husband, Dale Swan, she treasured the beauty of the world around her.
Though Rhonda’s physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit lives on in the countless memories shared among family and friends. Her compassion and strength will forever inspire those she touched.
A celebration of Rhonda’s life will take place at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and honor the beautiful soul she was.
Rhonda Louise Vermette will be profoundly missed yet lovingly remembered. Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will resonate in the hearts of those she left behind, reminding us all of the beauty of relationships and the importance of family. Rest in peace, dear Mother.
