APRIL 21, 1937 – DECEMBER 17, 2023

Pat passed away peacefully at Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall, MB at the age of 86 years young.  She was born in Stonewall to Nancy and Graham Rodway.  She started school in Stonewall and then moved to Warren in 1950.  She worked at Great West Life prior to raising her family and then worked part-time at Sears once her children were older.

Pat married Bill Kotelko on June 11, 1955 and they lived in Warren, MB where they raised two sons and a daughter.  She was a lifetime member of the Warren Ladies’ Curling Club, where she curled in the afternoon and evening leagues.  She also enjoyed golf and was well renowned for her cooking and baking skills.  Pat and Bill enjoyed 28 winters in Mesa, AZ after Bill’s retirement, where they made many friends.  They moved to Lion’s Manor in Stonewall in 2013.

Pat is pre-deceased by her parents Nancy and Graham Rodway, sister Nancy Crockatt (Hugh), husband Bill, son Neil and son-in-law Ron Ellie. She is survived by son Perry, daughter Yvonne, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Helen Riddell (Chris) and brothers Bill Rodway (Donna) and Jim Rodway (Dell), along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family extends our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Rosewood Lodge for their fantastic care and compassion.  Mom always felt safe and secure during her time there.

Cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will be conducted at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosewood Lodge or CNIB Manitoba in her name if so desired.
