Rose’s end of life care was well thought out. She grew softer as the days grew short. Kindness, gratitude and thinking of others were her greatest parting gifts.

We love you Mom & Grandma and so grateful for the life you shared with us Xo

Chrystal Rose

It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the sudden passing of Chrystal Rose (Honke) with her loving partner David by her side on April 24, 2022 at Grace Hospital at the age of 55.

Chrystal was predeceased by her father Herbert Honke, her mother Patricia Adams and her fur baby Princess.  She will be lovingly remembered by David and his family, her special family of 43 years (Joe, Don & Kathy), her fur baby Penny, as well as other family members and many friends whose hearts she touched.

Chrystal had worked for the Government of Manitoba in the Family Services department for 12 1/2 years.

Chrystal had many interests.  She loved nature, animals and the outdoors whether she was cleaning the yard (at home or the lake), gardening (which she grew enough vegetables to share with everyone), reading, doing crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, cooking and baking, she always would find something to do to keep herself busy.  Her “Happy Place” in the summer was at the lake in Pinawa with family and friends.  Out there you could catch her riding the seadoo, going for boat rides, exploring, fishing or just laying back in a tube at the dock enjoying a beverage.  In the winter her “Happy Place” was in Mexico with Dave.

In accordance with Chrystal’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday May 15, 2022 from 2 pm – 5 pm at 4th Line Pub & Grill 3025 Ness Ave.

YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED IN OUR HEARTS”
