Norman passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, June 9, 2026
Norman is survived by his daughter Natalie Manning, son Jason Cox (Jacquie), two granddaughters, Chyna Nwozor (Kenechi), and Tyra Johnson and three great grandchildren, Kadence Johnson-Squires, Isaiah & Naomi Nwozor.
Dad came to Manitoba in 1956 at the age of 16 and worked as a farm hand. It was there that he was introduced to the truth by the farm owner and was baptized in February 10, 1962. After working a few other jobs, he found his place at Versatile in the experimental engineering department. He loved to work with his hands fixing and modifying equipment.
Dad loved the different congregations he attended over the years but settled in Transcona in 1985 till his passing. Dad had a deep faith in the bible’s promise of the paradise and of the resurrection of man kind on earth. 2 Peter 3:13.
We would like to thank the Park Manor second floor nurses and staff who diligently cared for Dad and also express our gratitude for the support we have been given at this sad time.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., 930 Pandora Ave West Winnipeg.
