With her family by her side, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Marlene Kozoway (nee Onishko), aged 67, at the Health Sciences Centre after a brief illness.

Sandra was an incredibly strong woman who always put others first. Her family was everything to her, and her support was their true foundation. She showed her love through her generous hospitality, always making sure that anyone who walked through her door was well-fed and felt entirely at home. Sandra also had a deep love for animals and found great joy riding on the back of the motorcycle. Above all, she lived with a quiet, generous heart, always ensuring her family was protected and cared for.

She is survived by her loving husband Dennis; her children Bradley and Michael (Kayla); sister Tracy Onishko; niece Kaylin (Joel) Makara and many more friends and family. Sandra was predeceased by her parents John and Bernice and brother Terrence.

The family extends a special thank you to the doctors and staff of the Health Sciences Centre and Selkirk Regional Health Centre for all of their care, kindness, and compassion during this time. Cremation has taken place, and as per her wishes, no formal service will be held. Her family will celebrate her life privately.
