Mom was born June 14, 1958 in Mission,BC. Growing up mom had a passion for horses. At age 16 she got her very own horse which she loved very much. In 1977 her life became a little brighter when she became a mother to a baby boy. Moms passion turned into being a mother. Soon after in 1979 mom and Lee packed up and headed to Winnipeg, MB to be with the rest of her family. In 1984 she was blessed again with a baby girl. Soon her life was a stay at home mom. i love you mom , i know it’s hard for me to say sometimes. but i got to hear you say “goodbye i love you “ before you passed. we had a lot of ups and downs. you kept me going even when i had anger Ephesians 4:31–32 — Let go of bitterness and anger, and instead be kind, compassionate, and forgiving.
    i’ll always remember my family
i had a ceremony for you in edmonton, had my whole church praying for you .
everyone saw the pain i carry i’ve been gone for too long i never got the chance to hold you one more time. family jealousy is sickening we used to talk about it all the time.just reminder you made me strong when i didn’t have to be, you helped me even if it was a phone call away but i promise you i made it its okay to say goodbye for now . see you on the other side mom . Love your Tooney Rooney.

I really want yous to know that your mom was big part of my life. Before my mom was diagnosed with dementia, your mom would and keep an eye on her, help with her meds and they cooked for each other . I was blessed with the kindness of your mom and how much my mom and her cared for each other, that’s was what best friends do.if your mom didn’t call me my mom or come over my mom was knock at her door. To see if she was ok. Now I feel blessed that nina was there to help me and get my mom to go out, but near the for my mom, she was checking on her and making sure she eat. I’m going miss hearing from her to see if I was ok and how I’m doing. She would talk to me like my mom did. So nina mom was there to hold your hand on your fina journey. Now both of yous are free of pain and dancing up a storm.now you get to meet my boys and mom gets to meet your son and granddaughter. Always remembered and will always be thinking of yous all. see yous on the other side.. ♥️🩷

I was a social worker for WCFS and lucky to have had Nina as a foster parent for a beautiful baby girl (who I can see from her obit never left and became her daughter by choice ❤️) This makes me so happy! Nina was so lovely..we just clicked and worked so well together. I have never forgotten her and always wondered how things ended up (for them both). I’m sad to see she lost her life so young and send my condolences to everyone who loved her. Her memory and legacy will not be forgotten.
