August 17, 1965 – March 31, 2025
Danny passed away on March 31, 2025, in Portage la Prairie, MB., at the age of 59 years.
Beloved father, brother and friend, Danny will be greatly missed by all of us. Your wisdom and your experiences are now left in our hearts and minds from a history with you.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Carberry Plains Cemetery with Pastor Joel Friesen as Officiant.

One Friday night in 1980 Danny and a bunch of us were 2 hours into a pot party while my mom was at work. Danny answered a knock on the door and turned and told me ” it’s the department of education” I couldn’t figure out for the life of me what the department of education was doing at my door on a Friday night. They preached at 7 stoned dudes for over 1 hour before I could get rid of them. Danny thought that was the funniest prank ever and reminded me of that story many times over the years. Danny was quite the character and I could tell stories about his escapades for hours. Rest easy my dear friend and brother. Say hi to Gary, Keith, and Darrell for me. See you soon.

I forgot to mention it wasn’t the department of education it was the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Danny sat on the couch the whole time they were there laughing his tail off as I kept shooting him dirty looks.😂
