June 2, 1942 –September 22, 2024

On September 22nd, 2024, Lee Geiler passed away at the age of 82 years with her son by her side. Lee was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Geiler, in 2008. She missed him terribly every day.

Left to cherish her memories are her 3 sons, Dwight, Darren and Derek (Charlene) and her 2 grandsons Luke and Troy, and many other family and friends.

Lee was born in Shortdale, MB. June 2, 1942, to Mike and Helen Komishin. She married her loving husband Wayne in 1968, and then had three sons. They lived in Brandon for 12 years then moved back to Winnipeg. Wayne worked for Pitney Bowes for 36 years, once he retired in 2003 they moved out to Matlock, MB. to enjoy their retirement outside of the city. They loved to spend time outdoors. The family spent most summers camping throughout Canada and the United States. Lee loved to play cards and enjoyed sitting around a campfire. She enjoyed looking at beautiful flowers and birds. 

The family would like to thank the staff at the Betel Home Foundation in Gimli, MB for the care and compassion given to Lee during her time there, and the staff at Interlake Cremation & Memorial Services for their professional and helpful service. 

Cremation has taken place and Interment will be held at Clandeboye United Church, 8456 Pth 9 Clandeboye, MB., on Saturday, October 12th at 1:00 p.m.
