April 18, 1937 – April 14, 2024
Peacefully at the age of 86 years, Barbara passed at the Carberry Plains Health Centre.
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Carberry Plains Health Centre or to a charity of one’s choice.

I got to know Barbara about 10 years ago thru my Mother. She was related and they knew each other as children. We had so many good times and great laughs together. We had many a rummage sale shopping sprees where we just laughed all day as we found our treasures. Went on fabulous drives thru her old haunts as a young girl. Enjoyed our near beer with watermelon which she just loved under a tree in the summer heat.
I loved her sense of humour and mischievous nature. Our fun times together will be greatly missed.

We enjoyed many a Rummage Sale shopping spree with so much laughter. Took long drives thru the country as she showed Mom and I her old haunts. Loved to have a near beer and some watermelon under a tree in the summer heat.
I so enjoyed her sense of humour and mischievous nature. These traits and our fun times together will be greatly missed.
I knew Barbara as a child at Camp Hughes, Manitoba. That’s a long time ago. I visited her recently in Carberry as the older women we had become….lots of memories were shared. This was great…..
