September 21, 1969 – March 25, 2023
Sean will lovingly be remembered by children; Tyson (Taylor), Athena (Alex), Brother Rob (Dolly) and devoted parents Roy and Doris as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sean started school in St. Francois Xavier. High school in Elie was an exciting time. Not for academics so much, but Hockey! Being a goalie was much fun with the St. Eustache Jets.
Sadly, at the age of seventeen, he was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
In 1996, he married Bonita, the mother of his children. He continued to work as a security guard as long as he could. Deer Lodge Center became his home for the last eight years.
Many people were blessed with his presence and friendship.
We have loved you lots and will miss you more!
As tokens of sympathy, donations in memory of Sean may be made to the Deer Lodge Center, 2109 Portage Avenue, Wpg., Manitoba, R3J 0L3.
In accordance with Sean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Our sincerest condolences to Aunt Doris and Uncle Roy. Sean was the kindest and sweetest cousin ever. You will be greatly missed!
Sean was a great Hockey Coach. Probably my most memorable year. My heart goes out to you all. He will be remembered
To the Fanzega family.
I wish you peace and comfort as you grieve. Sean was always a personable young man in high school. He loved his goalie position! Thinking he led the students to their only victory over us at the annual senior student/teacher hockey game in St E.
Don’t let go of your precious memories. 🙏🏻
Over the last few years my parents Bob and Marilyn who reside at Deer Lodge, had the pleasure of seeing Shawn daily. Shawn always had time for a chat and hockey usually came up in the conversation. Shawn was a very caring person who was always asking about the wellness of our family. We miss you Shawn and your friendly smile.
Deepest condolences to Roy, Doris, Rob & wife, to Sean’s children . I was the school secretary when he went to school. He was always very pleasant to everyone and funny most of the time. Then I went to visit him at Deer Hospital a few times. His room was full of his children and always talked about them. He certainly loved his children very very much. Rest in Peace Sean-
