It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Annette at the age of 62.
She was predeceased by her parents, Denis and Jeannine Asselin, her brother Edmond Asselin and her brother-in-law Larry Johannson.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Diana (Josh); grandson Justin; sister Jocelyn; brother Marc (Lori); cousin Michelle (Marcel) as well as nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Annette was a hard working single mother who dedicated her life to her daughter and later to her grandson. Her love for her whole family knew no bounds.
Annette will be remembered for her infectious laugh and her outgoing personality. She was selfless and often put the needs of others before her own. She had a gift for making those around her feel at ease and special. She was truly one of a kind.
Cremation has taken place and will be interred at a later date.

Annette was certainly on of a kind. Always bringing out the best from everyone she met. Now you have the most beautiful angel watching over your family.

Unbelievably heart broken for you all. Annette used to always laugh when I called her mama, but she was such an amazing women with one of the biggest hearts that I was blessed to see. From the moment I met her and her amazing Daughter Diana back in the day at Securican (now Petline) I was immediately drawn to their kindred spirits.
We used to always laugh and joke that we were related someone how, which just lead to me calling Annette Mama. Ha ha. While we may have lost another amazing Woman, Im just happy to know that she’s in peace, pain free for the first time in many, many years and know that she is up above with my mother getting into all sorts of trouble and loving every minute of it.
She truly was one of a kind. She was and forever will be my work mom even though I hadn’t worked with her for 10 years. We worked side by side and every day she made my days better (all while making me go a little crazier at the same time, those damn schedules and reports!)
I will miss her deeply, even though we had lost touch she always made sure to write to me on my birthday and I on hers and we would communicate on Facebook every so often. My heart just breaks for everyone. She will truly be missed. Rest in paradise Nettie
I remember Annette’s hearty laugh. She was a lot of fun to work with at SBGH. She was such a great mother and grandmother. Gone far too soon
Marc & Lori and the entire Asselin Family. So sorry to hear of Annette’s
