It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Lizette at the age of 63 succumbed to her battle with cancer on January 22, 2022.
Lizette was born to the late Clarice Camirand and Francois St. Pierre in Blind River, Ontario on May 29, 1959. She was predeceased by her siblings, Marlene, George, and Ronnie as well as her niece Lindsay. Left to cherish her memory, her husband Dave; children Cassandra (Joel), Adam (Jessie); Jesse (Nikki) and grandchildren Dalia, Romie, James, Bailen and William; Siblings, Fred, Suzie, Edo (Joy), Kathy (Ingo), Peter, Tony; Brother-in-law Donnie (Lynne), Ronnie, Sister-in-law Linda (Blair), and niece Rochelle. She will also be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Lizette will be remembered for her outgoing and compassionate personality. She was selfless and often put the needs of others before her own. She had a gift for making those around her feel at ease and special. In turn she developed many special and devoted friendships.
Lizette enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren at the cabin in Balsom Harbour. She often puttered around pulling out toys, organizing activities and asking Dave to start a fire to roast hotdogs and marshmallows. She always had a pantry full of snacks and sugary cereals to please the grandchildren. Nothing made Lizette happier than spending time with her family giggling at silly jokes and delighting in the togetherness.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
The family gives special thanks the nurses and doctors at St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Unit who treated Lizette like family and gave exceptional care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made directly to St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
Friends and family are invited to share memories and condolences on Lizette’s memorial page by using the comment field below.

you, loved her as if she was your own., and always made Nikki and her family feel welcome in your home. You were an amazing lady an we will miss you always.
Rest in peace Lizette.
I remember when I first moved to Selkirk Lizette came by and told me that if anyone ever gave me any trouble to let her know and she’d handle it. From then on she always made me feel safe. Always saying her (and Dave) were always just down the street and to call if I ever needed anything. I will cherish her kindness that she didn’t have to offer but did because that’s how big her heart was. I will miss seeing her smile when I walk down the street. She was truly a wonderful woman. I’m so sorry.
I had the pleasure of meeting Lizette at Canadian Tire where we both worked. She was very helpful and kind and we became great friends. My favorite time was spending it together, like going out for drinks the four of us, breakfast with the ladies, biking riding or going out for dinner. In the later years our time together got less and less but I got to be there for her 60 th surprise Birthday party and she got to come to my 70 th birthday party….You my friend will be forever in the thoughts, good journey until we meet again…..

Dear Dave and family,
We were so sad to hear of Lizette’s passing.
We will always remember her as our kind and joyful neighbour at the lake, who so much enjoyed playing with the grand-children and being out in nature. What a courageous and positive person she was. She will be deeply missed.

Dear Buchan Family
I went to school with Jessie for our entire youth, and would go on to become to friends as adults. We may not have been friends at every turn but every interaction I had with Lizette was always so warm, and genuine. She had this disarming quality about her that as previously mentioned made you feel at ease; whether it was at a family function, or chatting at Canadian tire.
She always remembered me-to my surprise, even after many years. Now it is our turn to honour her by remembering and celebrating her life.
My deepest condolences

Lizette was an angel in human form. The time I spent with her this past year as part of the Tuesday coffee gals, taught me a lot about the awesomeness of her as a loving person and friend.
To Dave and family, kindly accept my condolences.

My heart goes out to all of Lizette’s family and friends. She was a customer friend with whom I shared many conversations. Lizette enjoyed shopping for her family and friends and yes, treating herself. It was always a pleasure to see her and she will be sadly missed.
