Bob was a hard-working and dedicated employee. He has been employed mainly in manufacturing and trucking industries. He took pride in everything that was handed him.
He loved his family and provided for them the best way he knew how. He loved his grandchildren especially the littlest Ashlynn and Jaeleigh. He would bend over backwards for those munchkins.
Bob was ill for many years with diabetes which eventually caused him to lose his legs. He had numerous heart attacks that caused him to undergo quadruple bypass surgery. His kidneys failed and potassium levels spiked that caused him to have a cardiac arrest.
The family would like to thank those who provided care and helpfulness to him throughout the years. Firstly, Johnson Memorial Hospital, Betel Nursing Home in Gimli, Cheryl MacGuiness, Darlene Brine, his nephew Desi ( he was so proud of you ), his kids especially Patti who went over and above caring for him ( he loved you so much Patti ) I hope I haven’t missed anyone.
FOREVER LOVED AND REMEMBERED. . .RIP BOB !!!
At Bob’s request, there will be no funeral or Celebration of Life. He will be cremated and interred at a later date at Glen Lawn cemetery.
Special thanks to Scott and Julia at Glen Lawn, Jeanette at Winnipeg Cremation Services and last but not least Interlake Cremation & Memorial Services. Rick, you provided me with valuable information and kindness.
As you may know Bob loves animals especially small mutts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to animal shelters and/or rescues in his name.
For 73 years, you graced this world with your presence. What a shock it was that you passed so quickly. The world lost a good man and I am happy you are reunited with your family especially your Mom, Jerry, your loyal companion Cosby and Scoot will be waiting there for you.
Finally you are free of pain and resting comfortably. I’m going to miss our phone calls mostly everyday.
FOREVER LOVED AND MISSED. . . .
ps. I will make sure Ashlynn and Jaeleigh remember you. They loved you so much ❤❤❤
Rest easy Uncle Robert
Love Monica
My husbnd Red ( mike McCracken) knew Bob his entire life and spent alot of time at his house hanging out with Jody. He would tell me (Rachel) stories all the time about Bob and I never got a chance to meet him or hang out with him but based on what I was told he seems like a really good man. He seems kind, loving, and very caring. I have never heard anything bad about him. sending hugs to the entire family from both me and Red. We both will be thinking of him.
To my brother in law Bob, you will be sadly by me and the family . We have shared many memories together . BOB YOU will be with mom and dad , and I will be talking to you with them beyond the moon. Rest in peace, no more suffering my friend. Love Diane.
Bob was a one of a kind guy. I was honoured to meet him through Gary Jones. He was a strict person when needed and he was willing to help you out at a moments notice. Rest peacefully Bob.

Dear Bob,
You are sadly missed by me and will cherish the memories of when we all got together. You was a great friend to me and my family. They too have great memories and they shall miss you too. I will still have a conversion with you , mom and dad and others who have past just beyond the moon. Every time there is a moon you will find me looking and talking to you all. I am so sorry for each and everyone in your family. But you my friend are not suffering any more that gives me some peace. RIP BOB.
Bob certainly was a nice fellow who absolutely cared about everyone. I know he will be sorely missed by many. RIP Bob…
