She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her only child Dara(Kolb) Rapko and her granddaughter Haylee Rapko, stepson Brent(Jennifer) Lafreniere and their three children; Chase, Jake and Lucas. Also left to mourn is Coleen (Barry) Shurvell.
Debbie’s life was not an easy one but she was known for being beautiful and fierce in her younger years. She had a love for dogs and showed St. Bernards. This is where she met her husband Barrie. They were married and had their only child, Dara in St. Andrews, MB.
When Barrie and Debbie separated she then met the love of her life, Dennis.
They eventually moved to Cypress River, MB where Dennis was the Pool Elevator manager and Debbie worked at the school in Glenboro, MB as an teaching assistant. She went back to her love of dogs and started a Dog Grooming Business in Cypress River and Carberry, MB.
After moving Dennis and Debbie found their dream retirement home in Sandy Hook, MB
There they enjoyed bonfires and barbeques with friends in the summer.
Debbie had a life of struggles and ongoing medical issues. Sadly her love, Dennis passed away two years ago and things for Debbie was a constant struggle.
Debbie stayed in the home that they both dreamed of and sadly life struggles overwhelmed her.
Mom, you will be missed deeply. I know you did the best you could and are no longer in pain
You can dance with the love of your life now and tell those whom you loved anything that went unsaid.
