It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden loss of Henryk Bacal our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and dear friend at the age of 63 on June 6. Henryk will be remembered by his wife Ella and son Szymon as well as his sisters Jadwiga, Krystyna, Renata, Dorota and his two brothers Krzysztof (Marzena) and Grzegorz (Elzbieta) and his many nieces and nephews in Canada, Poland, Sweden, and England. Henryk liked to cook, garden, fish, and go mushroom picking. He also liked helping out on construction projects. Sharing Bible truths with his neighbours brought him the most joy. He looked forward to the promise in the Bible at Revelations 21:3,4.
Respecting Henryk’s wishes, cremation has already taken place and a private service will be held .
Condolences can be left at Henryk’s memorial page at www.interlakecremation.ca
Arrangements entrusted to Interlake Cremation & Memorial Services
With great sadness upon Henry’s death there’s great joy. Let me explain. Jesus is the son of the living God Jehovah. Jesus was resurrected after his death. About 500 people witnessed Jesus talking. In the Holy Bible there are several other people who were resurrected as well. I know Henry will be resurrected. Our God Jehovah is the God of comfort. “…because I (Jesus) live, you will live.” John 14:19 (b).

We will truly miss him. He was always such a delight to be around. He had a wonderful smile and great sense of humour. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this shocking loss.
Love Beata
Henryk will be forever in our fondest memories. Our heart goes out to you and your entire family at this most difficult time. Thoughts and prayers for all of you. Love, Gunther and Cathie
Always greeted with a smile and a handshake by Henry at every meeting. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. It won’t be long until we see Henry again!
Dear Ella and Szymon as well as all of Henryk’s family,
Our hearts go out to you as you suffer from the loss of your loving husband, father, son, brother and our dear friend.
We share in your grief with empathy and ‘fellow feeling’ and much love.
We always enjoyed his company and as many have said his smile and undeniable zeal for Jehovah. He gave his all in his service to his Creator and Lifegiver, Jehovah.
I must share an experience that I had a few years ago at our Regional Convention in Portage. On Saturday an RV of mine came for the program and while looking for a seat with her, Henry came right up to us hand outstretched to welcome her. At the end of the day we saw him again and he asked her how she enjoyed the program. She said she did and he said, see you tomorrow! She replied that unfortunately she wasn’t able to come on Sunday. Undaunted Henryk said, well then, we will see you next year! I have to say she was so impressed by his warmth and enthusiasm!
But that was Henry. Loving, welcoming and zealous for Jehovah!!!
Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you Ella & Szymon, as well as all of his family. How happy it will be when we see him again in Jehovah’s promised Paradise, soon to come! With our Agape love and deep sympathy, Don and Peggy Anders❤️
Also, we told our Bible study, Michael & Annette about Henry this morning and they wanted us to extend their love and condolences to you and your family.
