Bill passed away peacefully at home, July 19, 2020 at the age of 72.

He leaves to grieve, his sister Carolyn Kingston; stepsisters, Joanne Haramia and Claire Harcus; cousin, Cameron McCulloch; niece, Barbara Bates, daughter of aunt Ruth Bracken and nieces, Gail Ireland and Carol Budworth, children of his deceased aunt, Elinor Robson, as well as many close friends and business acquaintances.

A favorite place was Fort Meyers Beach where yearly family visits included exploring and appreciating marine life, sea birds and shelling.

He loved all creatures great and small.  Crows and rabbits were backyard visitors and Bill rescued and was a loving dog dad to many big dogs who, in his care, flourished and became family.  His greatest joy was walking trails with a beloved dog by his side.

No funeral by request.  The family will hold a small Celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to an animal rescue shelter or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB  R3T 0R3
