It’s with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Elisa Suzanne Thickson. After battling several health issues stemming from a heart attack back in January 2023, Elisa passed away on April 15 2026 at the St Boniface hospital with her family by her side.
Elisa was born July 12, 1977 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Jim and Carroll Thickson. She was predeceased by both parents.
She will be lovingly remembered by her dearly beloved Son, Ethan Greentree, Brother, Kyle Thickson (Valerie) Sister, Kara Thickson, Nephews, Evan, Lucas, and Kaycen, Niece, Breann, Step father, Martin Robak, Step Mother, Jeanette Thickson as well as extended family and friends.
Elisa attended Grant Macewan university in Edmonton, Alberta where she studied to be a legal secretary. As the youngest of three siblings, Elisa had a great sense of humour and was more than capable of taking a light hearted joke from family, friends and colleagues. In her younger years she loved to sing all her favourite songs for anyone who would listen. Some people may remember her enthusiastic rendition of “vogue” by Madonna with a smile. Elisa loved nothing more than to spend a day at the beach or pool with family. She would also never turn down an opportunity to have her hair, nails or makeup done at the salon or by her niece Breann. All of these memories will hold a special place in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held privately with family at a later date.
