Valerie Karen Pohl

May 26, 1967 – January 4, 2024

It is with extreme sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Valerie.

Valerie was predeceased by Her father Karl Heinz Pohl and mother Cecile Kakewash, along with sister Patricia Yellowega (Pohl), and brothers Peter Pohl and Clarence Kakewash; and is survived by brothers, Mike, and Richard; sisters, Flora and Krista; as well as brother-in-law Ken, and nephew’s Daniel Brown and Desmond (Krista).

Valerie lived a simple life, worked hard, cherished sentiment, and deeply loved her family. Her unwavering dedication, sentimental nature, and boundless love will forever inspire us. May her soul find eternal serenity.

Rest in peace, dear Valerie, and know that you will be deeply missed.

A private family prayer service will be held before her interment of ashes. She will be laid to rest upon her father, Karl Heinz Pohl at a later date at St. Peter Dynevor Old Stone Church.

Peter Karl Pohl

November 7, 1962 – March 22, 2023

It is with extreme sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Peter at the Selkirk General Hospital.

Peter is predeceased by his Father Karl Heinz Pohl and Mother Cecile Kakewash, along with Sister Patricia Yellowega (Pohl); and is survived by brothers, Mike, Clarence and Richard; sisters, Valerie, Flora and Krista; as well as brother-in-law Ken, nephew Daniel Brown and best friend Rick Kucera.

Peter was a devoted hard worker through his employment, receiving perfect attendance awards every year for 25 years.  He also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed the simple life.

A private Family Prayer Service will be held before his interment of ashes; along with his sister Patty’s interment of ashes, being laid to rest upon Father, Karl Heinz Pohl, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at St. Peter Dynevor Old Stone Church.
