It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maureen Logan, on November 27, 2024. At 81 years of age, she was reunited with her late husband Ian, who passed away 37 years earlier to the exact day – a true love story.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Alison (Don) Bohemier and Suzy (Michael) Gerbrandt; her grandchildren, Ashley (David), Daniel, and Logan (Nika); and her great-granddaughter Sofia. She is also survived by her close cousin Marilyn and Barry Davenport, and cousin Beryl Makin.
After emigrating from England in 1968, Maureen and Ian built a beautiful life in Sperling, Manitoba. After losing her soulmate at such a young age, Maureen shifted her focus to her family and work, retiring from Rossmere Golf and Country Club in 2003.
She lived her final months at Fred Douglas Lodge, surrounded by the most wonderful and caring people.
It was Maureen’s wish to be cremated and for the family to have a private celebration. We encourage everyone to share a laugh and raise a glass to celebrate her journey home.
