1950 – 2024
It is with a very heavy heart I announce the passing of my wonderful wife Vivian. She died peacefully January 17 after a very brave and difficult battle with her illness.
She was born in Morden but eventually moved to Portage where she started a family and a Robin’s Donut business with the help of her first husband and eventually her three children.
Her life changed in the late nineties and she moved to Selkirk where she worked at Red River Place until she retired in 2017.
She leaves behind her second husband Art, her sisters Eileen and Ivadel and brother Brian. As well, she leaves behind her three children Christe, Dee and Riley, her 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
I would like to thank the staff at Selkirk General Hospital especially those on the Medicine Ward 1 for their kindness and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and immediate family will get together at a later date.
As tokens of sympathy, donations in memory of Vivian may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB. R3C 4G2.
