Audrey Esther Bergman (Nee: Pearson)

On July 29, 2022 Audrey passed away at the Grace Hospital into the loving arms of Jesus at the age of 84 years.

Audrey was born in 1938 in a house on Machray Avenue in Winnipeg. She grew up in Winnipeg, married and moved to Cranberry Portage for a short time and then to Purcell Street in Winnipeg with her in laws until moving to Charleswood in 1964.

There she resided until her divorce in 1989, moved to a condo in South St. Vital and then back to Charleswood in 2017 until her passing.

She graduated as a registered nurse from united College and spent most of her career in geriatric care at Holiday Haven Nursing Home in Charleswood and then at Tache Nursing Center in St. Boniface until retiring in 2000.

She often spent her time going out for lunch or dinner with family, taking in cultural activities including Folkorama, MTC and the Wpg. Symphony Orchestra or simply playing cards and socializing with her numerous friends.

She attended Grant Memorial Church and lived a simple Christian life as a loving dedicated mother to her sons who will miss her dearly.

She had numerous health problems over the past few years which took a toll on her frail, aging body until it was simply too much for her to continue on.

She was predeceased by her father Oscar and her mother Hilda.
