Kathryn Joyce Allard (nee Herner)

August 19, 1952 – February 16, 2026

With broken hearts we are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our mom Kathryn at her home on February 16, 2026 at the age of 73.

She was predeceased by her husband Eugene, mother Adeline, father Leo, sister Mari-Ann and brothers Jim and Claude.

She is survived by her 3 children Ron (Vikki), Roxanne (Kevin) and Melissa (A.J); grandchildren Jordan (Megan), Faith (Kris), Bryce (Danielle), Brooke (Rhett), Jersey (Jeremy), Hunter (Kaylen), Troy (Dom), Boston, Leighton and Cole. Great grandchildren Noah, Kinsley and Hudson.

Kathryn was born August 19,1952 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She married the love of her life at a young age of 18 and started her family. She was a devoted loving wife for 47 years and the best mom for 55 and a half years. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her life. Family meant everything to her. A small room, full of chaos and loud love, brought that big beautiful smile to her face. To know her is to love her and anyone who got that chance to love and be loved by her understands how losing her feels impossible. She always carried herself with so much love, beauty, and grace. As everyone knows Yellow was her favourite colour which made perfect sense as she was our sunshine, warm, bright and impossible not to feel. She was the kindest lady with the purest heart. We are going to miss her beautiful smile, her tightest hugs, her “I love you’s”, and of course that sense of humour.

We will be having a Celebration of Life for her at Four Crowns Restaurant and Bar, 1030 McPhillips Street on March 5th from 1:30-6:00pm.

Thank you to everyone who was in our mom’s life.

Family and friends are invited to share memories and condolences on Kathryn’s memorial page using the comment field below.
