July 5, 1941 – March 29, 2025
Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Brian Bill Fenning at the age of 83 at the Misericordia hospital on March 29th, 2025.
Mourning this overwhelming loss are his beloved wife of 60 years Lorraine, children Darren (Lisa), Karen (Dean), Jason (Georgina), and his 4 beloved grandchildren who were the love of his life Konnor, Sydney, Chace, and Paige. Also left to mourn his loss is his sister Evelyn Kiesman of Ashern, Manitoba. Predeceased by parents Lena and Eric Fenning; Six brothers and six sisters and in-laws Jack and Helen House.
Brian lived life to the fullest, and his life revolved around the happiness of his family. We were blessed to have an amazing father, husband, and grandpa, who had the biggest heart and best sense of humor.
Dad (AKA Grandpa) enjoyed fishing, hunting, and everyone enjoyed listening to his stories about his life growing up in Hilbre, Manitoba.
Pops enjoyed watching all sports, and looked forward to watching his grandchildren during all their activities and sports. He also enjoyed having drinks with his family at home on the balcony. We always looked forward to enjoying listening to his recollection of stories and memories.
The grandkids always looked forward to visits with Grandpa, who had a special way of making them feel loved with his thoughtful gestures, often including a little spending money.
We look forward to finding random toothpicks to remind us you are near, and we will continue feeding the blue jays as they visit the balcony.
