It is with a heavy heart the family announces the passing of Cheryl Wiens at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre on February 25th, 2024 at the age of 77.
She is survived by John, her husband of 52 years, and sons Derek and Mark.
Cheryl had a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s and more recently, with cancer.
She spent 47 years training and working as a Registered Nurse, which included a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked at the Health Sciences Centre as a Unit Manager until her retirement. Cheryl won an Excellence award for her work there, which she was proud of.
Cremation has taken place and as her wishes, there will be no funeral.
