Chloé Anne Vermette

January 21, 2008 – September 6, 2026

Chloé’s life was a radiant celebration of love, friendship, and every little joy this world had to offer. At just 18, she embraced each day with a passion that flowed into everything she loved: her family, friends, music, and, of course, her beloved cats, dogs, and horses.

She had that perfect mix of a spicy attitude and a bright, glowing spirit that could lift anyone’s mood. She truly lit up every room she walked into.

Watching her graduate high school in June filled me with pride. She found real joy in her mechanics course and was excited to explore what her next chapter of life would encompass. Chloé lived by the belief that “Life is too short — embrace what you have”, and she carried that truth in everything she did. To me and so many others, she was and always will be my sunshine, my only sunshine.

Love,

Mom

Grieving her loss is her mother Véronique Vermette and partner Justin and family, her grandparents Lionel and Patricia (Beaudry) Vermette, and her aunts and uncles Jean‑Paul (Danielle), Stéphane, Myriam (Kent and cousins Elena, Connor), cousin Greg (Mikayla and cousins Henry, Elizabeth) and cousin Avery, André (Caridad and cousin Ozana), and Evelyn (Brandon).

Welcoming her with open arms are her great‑grandparents Denis and Thérèse Beaudry, Jean‑Baptiste and Ange‑Emma Vermette, along with numerous beloved family members who have gone before her.

My beautiful daughter, Chloé,

You were a precious gift who brought so much love, laughter, and light into our lives. Your beautiful smile, your loving heart, and the memories we shared will forever remain a part of us.

Although our hearts are broken that you had to leave us far too soon, we will carry your love with us every day. You will never be forgotten, and you will always be our beautiful girl.

I still remember when I took you to your very first race at Victory Lane Speedway, I knew right then and there you were going to fall in love with this sport and now Dax is in love with it also. Our bond we had together was amazing. All the things I did, you wanted to do and help and that meant a lot. To see you grow up to this beautiful young woman following in my footsteps with cars, trucks, quadding to car shows, car meets, cruise nights, to following your dreams and doing what you did that I did at your age.

Dax is going to take very good care of Luna for you as I will guide him with help. He loved being with you and around you when u would spend hours cleaning your car or your room, chasing him around the house, playing tag, piggy back rides to cuddling on the couch with a movie.

All my family and friends who have got the chance to know or meet you Chloé, miss you so much. We all love you baby girl, especially Dax, he misses you more than you know. Rest easy baby girl, till we meet again. Love Papa & Dax Delaine

Until we meet again, Chloé,

Sleep peacefully among the angels.

You are loved more than words could ever say,

and you will forever live in our hearts. ❤️🕊️

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever my daughter.

Papa

Grieving her loss is her father Stéphane Delaine, her brother Dax Delaine, Matante Roxanne Delaine, grandparents Dale & Carmelle Delaine, great-grandparents Adélard & Héléne Verrier, Hortense Delaine, (Melvin Delaine deceased).

Our dearest Chloé,

We had many nick names for you. Mémère Delaine called you princess and ma fille.

Pépère Delaine always called you Monkey and cacawet, which stayed with you for a very long time.

You were a beautiful, strong loving and caring person. You had many friends in your life.

You loved all kinds of animals especially your cats.

We miss your smile, your voice and your laugh and the most important one was you would say to us bye I love you when you left the house.

Love always Mémère & Pépère

Chloé lived life loudly, boldly and unapologetically. She had a heart as big as her personality and loved her family and friends deeply. She could make you laugh when you needed it the most, tell you exactly what she thought and would leave you with a memory you would carry forever.

I love you my Ghostface loving girl.

Love always- Matante Roxanne
