Carol Remmert passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, at Victoria Hospital.
Carol was the daughter of John & Jean Remmert.
Carol spent the majority of her life in Portage la Prairie before moving to Winnipeg in 2024. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature and the lasting impact she had on the people fortunate enough to know her.
Carol found joy in the simple things in life, often happiest when she was outside, feeling the warmth of the sunshine or the gentle breeze. She loved music and especially enjoyed hosting a music therapy group, where she had the opportunity to meet many new friends.
Carol will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. A special thank you goes to all the staff at St. Amant who supported Carol through both the good times and the difficult ones. Their care and compassion meant so much.
Carol’s ashes will be interred at All Saint’s Cemetery.
