It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of John Stevo George Potkonjak of Swan River on March 28, 2024.
John was born to Tammy (Fudge) and Stevo Potkonjak on April 30, 2004. He lived in Lynn Lake, MB for his first four years, then relocating to Bowsman, MB for several years and eventually The Pas, MB in his later teens with his family. His final couple of years, he lived in Swan River with his young son, his sister and her partner.
John is survived by his son, George, sister, Mya (London), brother, Ty (Racheal), step sister, Rhiannon and his step brother, Riley, niece, Gemma, nephew, Raiden, mother, Tammy (Dan), father, Stevo (Camille), maternal grandparents, Herman and Marie Fudge and several other relatives and close friends.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Bosa Potkonjak, his uncle George Potkonjak, and his aunt Tina Fudge.
Being a part of ‘The Gift of Life’ program, John has potentially saved three lives with his organ donation. He is our hero and will always be.
He is truly missed and loved.
A private celebration of life will be held in his honour later this month.
