AUDREY  IRENE  FUSSEY

(nee HARRIS)

July 1, 1943 – January 2, 2020

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of a beloved wife and mother.

Diagnosed with stage 4 Mesothelioma last year, she was determined to celebrate 2020.

Succeeding, with dignity, she quietly slipped away in the early morning at home with family by her side.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, she graduated from Miles Mac Collegiate.   Working mainly for the government, she finished her career in Pay at Agriculture Canada in 2006 and retired to her forever place in Gimli MB.

She loved music, reading Stephen King and all kinds of puzzles.

She will be remembered for her strength and sense of humour.

She will be missed for her enduring dedication to family.

Predeceased by her brother Ross(1973), nephew Jimmy(1976), father Jack(1987), father in law Frank(1997), sister in law Carol(2011) and mother Irene(2009).

She leaves to mourn her husband Dennis of 45 years.

Daughter Janine(Craig), grandsons Scot & Kurt and grandogs(Beans & Jon) Baxter

Daughter Charlene(Craig), grandkids Dylan, Bryce & Lydia Knutt

Brother Ted Harris, children Kent(Marybeth) and Sue(Kevin)

Mother in law Ellen Fussey, children Jan, Scott(Doreen), Robyn(Doug) and Kim(Jim)

Close family Patti Hicks and Maureen Longley

Most of all by her lifetime bestfriend and confidant Jackie Lawson Yeo, husband Harvey and daughter Michele

As per her wishes, she will be buried with her parents at a private family service in St.Clements Cemetery later this spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba and The Humane Society.
